Here are some photos I developed from a roll of film from my family's 4th of July celebration. We had some of our friends and family over to our house on the lake. It was great to see everyone. I had a day full of sun and fun. We played croquet, drank homemade lemonade and coca-cola, ate lots of food, went on the boat, and set off fireworks. I hope you all had a great holiday as well (even though it's now August).
Delicious homemade lemonade in mason jars.
Also on this roll were some photos from an adventure I had with Brittany. We went geocaching around town and found some great new photo locations. We ended up, at one point, on a hill with a beautiful church on one side and an old cemetery on the other. But in front of our eyes was a beautiful field with a single tree growing in the middle. It was a great summer day full of hidden treasures.
I hope you're all having a great summer. I also recently returned from a study abroad trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. It was the trip of a lifetime and I'm so grateful for the opportunity. I truly did not want to leave, but I made a promise to myself to return one day, and I intend on keeping it.
